Welcome Back Picnic

Monday, Aug 31

We are just a few weeks away from our first week of school and our traditional Welcome Back Picnic! This picnic is for the whole family and is a great time to reconnect with other North Star families, meet the teachers, and welcome new students.

5:30 PM - 6:00 PM Meet-and-Greet with teachers in classrooms
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Hotdog dinner served on the patio (chips & drink included)
Location North Star School Lawn & Patio
Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Volunteer sign-ups will be open!

Academic Vision Night

Tuesday, Sep 15

Join us from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. At this essential parent community gathering, we will cast a unified vision for the academic trajectory of the upcoming year. Partnership succeeds when we share absolute clarity on our methods, curriculum, and shared goals.

This is a primary parent-only event. Please plan to attend.

Moms in Prayer Kick-Off

Join us after drop-off on Friday, Sept 4th in the Fellowship Hall to pray specifically for our students, teachers, staff, and school community as we kick off the new school year.

Dads of North Star (DONS) Campfire

Calling all North Star fathers! DONS meets monthly for prayer, fellowship, and service opportunities to support the campus and model faithful leadership. Join us for a back-to-school campfire fellowship.

Moms in Prayer

Join us weekly to pray specifically for our students, teachers, staff, and school community. Meet on the lawn after morning drop-off (or the Fellowship Hall in case of rain).

Athletics & Extracurriculars

PROGRAMS

Student Programs Catalog

Cross Country Fall (Aug - Oct)

Open to Grades 5-12 (Running club open to Grades 3-5). The competitive season begins in August and runs through mid-October.

Basketball (Boys & Girls) Winter (Oct - Feb)

Open to Grades 4-8. Season runs from late October to mid-February. Includes 4 teams: 4th-6th grade girls, 4th-6th grade boys, 7th-8th grade girls, and 7th-8th grade boys.

Choir Year-Round

Open to Grades 5-12. Practices held once a week, focusing on a variety of music, vocals, and choral performance.

Golf Spring

Open to Grades 7-12. Weekly lessons at a local driving range culminating in a season-ending 9-hole round.

Athletic Waivers & Fees

All students participating in competitive sports must have an active athletic consent waiver on file.
